Buying a name from us, start to finish.
The name is already ours, so there is no owner to trace and no bidding. What remains is a number, an escrow account and a transfer.
The steps and how long each takes

You name the domain, by reply or through the form. Maren answers with one figure and the terms. No range, no auction.

AgreementWhen you are ready
If the figure works, you say so by email. That note and our confirmation are the agreement. If it does not work, say that too; nothing follows you.

EscrowOne to three days
We open the transaction with a licensed escrow service in both our names. You pay escrow, never Eastridge.

TransferOne to five days
Once escrow confirms the funds, we push the name to your registrar account or start a transfer to the registrar you use.

ReleaseWhen you confirm
When the domain shows in your account, you tell escrow, and only then does payment leave it.
Who does what

- Who on your side signs off on the escrow.
We handle
- The escrow file and its paperwork.
- Unlocking the name and sending the transfer code.
- Checking the name lands in your account.
- Answering your registrar or IT team directly if they need it.
Fees
The figure we quote is the price of the name. We charge the buyer no commission, retainer or research fee on top.
The escrow service charges its own fee, set by its published schedule. We split it with you evenly unless we agree otherwise before the file opens.
Your registrar may charge its normal transfer fee, which usually adds a year of registration.
Questions buyers ask
Is the figure negotiable?
We quote the number we expect to accept. If your budget is below it, tell us what it is. Sometimes that closes the gap, sometimes it does not, and either answer is given quickly.
Can we pay in instalments?
Often: escrow can hold a short payment plan, with the name transferred when the last payment clears. Ask when you enquire.
Why not pay you directly?
A neutral party holding the money protects both of us. Escrow keeps the funds until the domain shows in your account.
Do we need a lawyer?
Most buyers do not use one for a single domain purchase. If yours wants to read the escrow terms first, we wait.
What about trademarks?
We place descriptive names, the words a trade uses for itself. If you have a concern about a mark in your market, raise it before agreeing and we will talk it through.
Will you sell the same name to someone else meanwhile?
While a figure you asked for is open with you, we do not quote it to anyone else. If another enquiry arrives, we tell you before anything changes.
Does the site or the email move with the name?
No. You receive the name alone, with no website, mail or history attached. What you point it at is up to you.
