Maren buys exact-match .com names and sells them on to the companies whose trade, service or market they spell out. Most of that work is with regional service firms, specialty retailers and professional practices along the East Coast.
She has spent around seven years in digital brand strategy and domain portfolios. The part she keeps to herself is the writing: every first note, every figure and every reply comes from her, so a buyer deals with one person from the first line to the transfer.
Her notes are short on purpose. The name and the reason it fits come first; the decision stays with the owner of the business.

Why Boston
The Financial District is a few streets of law offices, asset managers and insurers, with the service businesses that keep them running all around. It is a good place to watch how firms that live on referrals start to win work from search instead.
The office is a block from Post Office Square and a short walk from South Station, which puts most of New England a train ride away when a buyer would rather meet in person.
